Hi,

in the Configuration Manager, you have to look at
'User Access Rights' -> 'Ratings' and
'User Access Rights' -> 'Comments'
and please be sure that in 'Category View' -> 'General Settings' the option 'Entering Detail View' is set to 'Default View'.

Regards
Chraneco

Zoranz, can you give some details about your PHP version? It seems like the function exif_read_data() (http://de3.php.net/exif_read_data) is not available at your installation.

Hi 2all,

@zoranz: please have a look at your System Info >> PHP Info.
If there's no exif-extension listed you have to contact your provider.

@mab: Should we check the availability of the Exif package before using it? I think that's a good idea since it does not seem to be part of all installations, and prevents the not really obvious error.

I could think of two places where the compilation option for exif should be checked: in the frontend before using exif_read_data(), and in the backend at the exif option (a warning in the description would be perfect).
A simple
Code
if(function_exists('exif_read_data')){...}

should do the trick.

I believe I am having a similar error. So I do not want to open a new thread. Though I do not understand the fix that is described above. Where do I deactivate exif?

I am getting the following error below the Picture Information in the frontend.
