Title: JTableMenu :: _getNode failed - Error in menu administrative
Post by: carorland on 25-10-2013 13:40:22
I am translating with google Italian, understand I hope you understand my problem: I'm trying to install JoomGallery but at the end of the installation I get this error: JTableMenu :: _getNode failed - Error in administrative menu . I noticed that the component is installed and running , because after the installation , open the confirmation page that has a chance to go to the management of the component but the component does not come out in the " components "
moreover gives me confirmation that the component has been installed correctly .
I looked around a bit , some say that it is a database problem , the indications are:

- Uninstall the
- Go in the tables xxx_extensions , xxx_assets and xxx_menu and delete all references to JoomGallery
- Reinstall the

problems mentioned in the tables There is no entry that refers to JoomGallery either before or after installation or disinstallatone .

please help me thanks
I think the problem is just that, I do not see the component in the " components " because they do not installs .

the component works perfectly , just missing the menu item in the "components" and also missing the icons ( big ones ) on the main page of JoomGallery .

Hi,

you should be able to solve this by doing a clean new installation of JoomGallery.

For this please delete all entries related to JoomGallery in the database tables you mentioned and delete the folders 'components/com_joomgallery/' and 'administrator/components/com_joomgallery/'.

If the problem still exists after that please open a new thread in the current board of the forum.
