Title: conflict with jomdirectory
Post by: squiant on 03-11-2013 06:07:32
Hi,

i'm using jomdirectory http://comdev.eu (http://comdev.eu)

the plugin System - JomComdev Image is causing that joomgallery images on modules, lightbox and detailed view won't show

i leave you a copy of the plugin package so you can check the code to see what is causing this, it would be very nice if you can find a fix for this issue

thx in advanced

Hi,

thanks, I had a look at the code of that plugin.
It has the problem mentioned in this article:
http://www.en.joomgallery.net/faq/general-faq/problem-with-certain-system-plugins.html
Please send this to the developers of the plugin, so that they can fix it.

Chraneco

hi,

i received answer from comdev.eu they say they can't make modifications right now

is there any help you or anyone else here can provide on this plugin modification??

the directory is my main component and i wouldn't like to have to look for another gallery, i like joomgallery very much but if i can't fix this i will have to do it

Hi,

what do they mean with that they cannot fix it right now?
Maybe it gets fixed later on.

Since this is definitely an error in the plugin we cannot create an easy fix for that in the gallery.

what they said is that they don't have the time or resources to make the modification

i wasn't asking you to modify joomgallery but if it's possible with your advanced knowledge to make the module modification i would do it myself, but i just can't. I have basic knowledge of coding perhaps other option is if you can provide detail instructions on how to do this modification.

thx in advanced
