I made some modifications to the JoomImages module so that thumbnails could be shown in a square (1:1 ratio).

I must say that it does look really nice. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why this style is becoming popular. =)

Attached is a zip with a read me. For whatever reason, the packages I made for it wouldn't install in my Joomla backend. So you'll have to manually upload and replace files. Maybe someone would be so kind to post a working package zip of my modification.
