I have the same issue. I tried all of the suggestions but to no avail. This is a MAJOR issue!! If you cannot save/edit the configuration then it renders the plug in pretty much useless since you cannot provide any changes or customization. Im not being ungrateful - its a fantastic component. However, you can understand the bind Im in as my client is now requesting for changes that I cannot provide.

The weird thing is that it WAS working fine/saving the config. file properly. Then all of a sudden BAM! it stopped saving and reverts to a previous config.

My php checks out. No errors anywhere. It's simply not saving.

Can anyone provide further aid? I really appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Okay Im positive Ive fixed it.

I changed the title (frontend - page title). In the change I had a ' (as in Dave's Gallery).

I deleted the ' and I can now save the config!

EVERYONE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SPECIAL CHARACTERS IN YOUR TITLES FOR THE FRONT END.

Please reply and tell me if this worked for you.
