Hi all,

I have problem with BB Code links. In detail view it looks like ("Insert code"):
Code:
[IMG]http://mydomain.com/index.php?view=image&format=raw&type=img&id=1470&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54[/IMG]
but I think it should look like:
Code:
[IMG]http://mydomain.com/images/gallery/category/subcategory/filename.jpg[/IMG]

This is important problem - users can't paste photos to our forum Sad

can anyone help?

Regards,
Radek

Hi,

if the watermark is enabled on your site the first tag should also be correct.

What will be displayed if you insert this tag into your forum?

My settings:

Download with Watermark? NO
Add Watermark? NO

IMG-TAG looks like:
Code:
[IMG]http://advpoland.com/index.php?view=image&format=raw&type=img&id=1479&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54[/IMG]
URL-TAG looks like:
Code:
[URL]http://advpoland.com/index.php?view=detail&id=1479&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54#joomimg[/URL]

Link to detail page:
http://advpoland.com/index.php?view=detail&id=1479&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54

Forum:
If I insert this IMG-TAG into forum it shows:
Code:
[IMG]http://advpoland.com/index.php?view=image&format=raw&type=img&id=1479&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54[/IMG] -as text

Hi,

ok, so all links are working, but it seems to be a problem with your forum. It doesn't interpret the bb code.
Do you have enabled this in your forum? What forum are you using?

I'm using Kunena Forum.
(earlier, img-tag in gallery was:
Code:
[IMG]http://mydomain.com/images/gallery/category/subcategory/filename.jpg[/IMG]
and Kunena accepted it, now, img-tag:
Code:
[IMG]http://advpoland.com/index.php?view=image&format=raw&type=img&id=1479&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54[/IMG]
is not correclty interpreted by Kunena, as you wrote.)

Well Sad How Can I solve it? Have you any idea?

Hi,

I just saw that you have ask Kunena Support because of that, too (I assume that it is you).

So let's wait for an answer of them first.

It seems that Kunena only accepts direct URLs to images and no images which are displayed by a script, but I don't see any reason why such images shouldn't be accepted.

What have you changed in configuration of the gallery when the format of the links has changed?

Yes Chraneco, I have asked about this problem, the post:
http://www.kunena.com/forum/138-support/40414-img-tag-problem-kunena-156#40414
and the answers aren't good for me (take a look)Sad.

So, is it possible to create bbcode like it was in Joom::Gallery 1.5.0.2?
Code:
[IMG]http://mydomain.com/images/gallery/category/subcategory/filename.jpg[/IMG]

In backend, code nothing (as I remember ;) ), only frontend file /com_joomgallery/views/detail/tmpl/default.php - some new div's to change template look.
After upgrading to 1.5.5 the bbcode changed to this new one,
and I don't use "watermark".
Code:
[IMG]http://advpoland.com/index.php?view=image&format=raw&type=img&id=1479&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=54[/IMG]

Thanks for help in advance,

Hi,

ok, I can understand why this check was implemented in Kunena forum, but then there's the question why other forums don't have such a security check.

Until this is dicussed more extensively you may try the following change in file 'components/com_joomgallery/helpers/ambit.php'.

Please remove lines 196 and 197:

Code
          || strpos($type, 'img')   !== false
         || strpos($type, 'orig')  !== false

Thanks Chraneco,

but now I'm getting double "http":
Code:
[IMG]http://http://advpoland.com/images/gallery/img_pictures/europa_6/francja_31/korsyka_69/eric_korsyka_015_20090902_1635922830.jpg[/IMG]

Hi,

ok, so another change is necessary, please replace the line

Code
$params->set('bbcode_img', str_replace('&', '&', $uri->toString()));

of file 'components/com_joomgallery/views/detail/view.html.php' with the following one:

Code
$params->set('bbcode_img', str_replace(array('&', 'http://http://'), array('&', 'http://'), $uri->toString()));

Chraneco,

Thank you, it works.
(By the way - I will check kunena's topic about this, from time to time. Maybe sth will change)

Hi,

that would be greate, thanks.

We will also discuss that topic in our team and perhaps ask the Kunena developers for some more information about that.

Hello Chraneco

I heve made the changes posted above (only first one) and it works for me. Now I have the following output:

Code:
[IMG]http://www.fotoafa.com/components/com_joomgallery/img_pictures/jose_maria_luna_anillo_29/macrofotografia_30/sonrisa_de_libelula_20100828_1991006334.jpg[/IMG]

But i would like the following one:

Code:
[IMG]http://www.fotoafa.com/components/com_joomgallery/img_originals/jose_maria_luna_anillo_29/macrofotografia_30/sonrisa_de_libelula_20100828_1991006334.jpg[/IMG]

This is because in the second link I have EXIF data, but in the first link I do not have it.

I think this will be a little change in the code.

Thanks.

Just for reference this is now cured in Kunena 1.6 which in the config>>BBCODE options now has

Quote
Display images with non-standard file extensions  Text/Link/Image

This option changes the way how [img] tag behaves on image extensions which are not allowed in Joomla Media Manager. Default option is Text, which prevents users from exploiting security vulnerabilities in badly designed Joomla extensions.
