Hi,

are you using PonyGallery ML or JoomGallery?
It's recommended to update to JoomGallery.

There is already a voting system implemented in detail view of the images.

Please have a look at the settings in tab 'User Access Rights' -> 'Ratings' of the configuration manager.

You will have to set the option 'Entering Detail View' in tab 'Category View' -> 'General Settings' to 'Default View' in order to use this feature.

Thank you for you answer Chraneco.
I'm using JoomGallery. I had a look at the build in voting system
and I'd like to know how I can modify it. I'd like to place the blue vote button
next to the Rating:, or directly under the picture. And I also want to
get rid of the (bad) and (good) under the picture rating.
Can you give guidance to do so.

sorry, there are many changes in the code of the gallery necessary for that which will be overriden the next time the gallery gets updated.

OK so I guess we can close this thread for now and wait for the next big joomgallery update!
Do you think that an experience programmer could do the changes?

Hi,

yes, I think so, but please note that any changes in the code will be overridden with the next update of the gallery.

Hi

Thanks, I set these two settings (the first one is set to "Yes" and the second of is "Default view"), and I cannot see a vote/rating option in detail view, is there any other option/like enabling a plugin or something is needed?

I'm using latest MVC version of Joomgallery

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

please have a look at the option 'Rating permitted for registered users only' in tab 'User Access Rights' -> 'Ratings'. If it is set to 'Yes' please check whether you want to rate the images with the user who owns these images.
