I've had a browse of the forum but can't seem to fin the answer anywhere. Is there any way of disabling the "Sort by" downdown menu?

Configuration Manager -> General Settings -> User specified Category Order - set to NO

It took me a while to find it but User specified Category Order comes under Category view not General Settings ...
