I just installed version 1.5.6.1, but I can't find the autoupdate button in the backend.
Where exactly is it?

Hi,

what exactly do you mean with the autoupdate button? If you are already using the current version of the gallery there is no need for an update.

If you want to install additional extensions for the gallery please havea look at the admin menu of JoomGallery. There will also be stated that the gallery is up-to-date.

I'm already using the latest version, but I am asking for future updates...I think that in the previous versions there was somewhere an update button...which I cannot find now...

Hi,

this update button won't appear until there are any updates.

If there are updates available you will be informed about that on every JoomGallery page in the backend and you will be directed to the admin menu where the auto update button appears.

At the moment there should be only a sentence 'JoomGallery and its extensions are up-to-date'. If not, please check whether the check for updates is enabled in tab 'General Settings' -> 'Paths and directories' of the configuration manager.
