Joomla 1.5.23
JoomGallery 1.5.6.3 (although I thought I had installed 1.5.7)?
Community Builder 1.4

Having recently updated the above components I have now got the following problems:

1. Can't open CB profile unless I disable CB-GalleryTab

2. Can't open any individual images in JoomGallery (Gallery View seems fine) - I get the following in Google Chrome

This webpage is not available
The webpage at http://www.clubmotorhome.co.uk/index.php?view=category&catid=3&Itemid=88 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error.

- the catid changes to suit the photo selected but the item id stays at 88, and even if the cat id and item id are entered manually the result is still the same.

Gallery View is here if it helps.

I have searched your forum but haven't found a solution, can you help please?

SORRY, posted in wrong category as obviously this query is not solved yet.

Hi,

do you use the Joomla! core SEF or a SEF extension?

Hi, thanks for your quick response.

I only use the core SEF as selected in the Global Configuration.

Meant to say earlier that

PHP Version 5.2.6
Linux Server
Mysqli 5.0.77

If that helps.

Hi,

thanks, the SEF seems to be disabled for the gallery. How did you disable that?

Hi,

in Joomla! core SEF it isn't possible to disable it for certain components. That's why I asked.

The detail view, but with the picture itself missing, still has a SEF URL as per here - http://www.clubmotorhome.co.uk/component/joomgallery/my-motorhome/uk-in-february-2009-a-clearing-in-a-forest-in-sub-zero-temperatures-13.html

As does the Category Overview here - http://www.clubmotorhome.co.uk/component/joomgallery/my-motorhome.html

The Gallery Listings are as per here - http://www.clubmotorhome.co.uk/members-area/members-photos.html

But when clicking on an image from there it goes wrong as per here - http://www.clubmotorhome.co.uk/index.php?view=category&catid=4&Itemid=88

So, as you say, it has its SEF disabled.

Have you any ideas where to go from here?

edit: The links -  "Top Rated - Last Added - Last Commented - Most Viewed" all get lost as non SEF as well.

Hi,

sorry, I don't know why some of the links aren't translated into SEF URLs.
Did you modify any of the files of Joomla! or JoomGallery?

Hi,

Thanks for persevering but no, I haven't touched the core files.

Do you think it would help to use a 3rd party SEF extension instead of the Joomla one?

Or will this just cause more problems?

Hi,

I think it would be unnecessary to install a third party SEF extensions because it would make everything more complicated.

Maybe I could find something out if I had access to your backend. If you agree with that please send me the data of a super-administrator account.

Chraneco,

I would just like to say a very big thank you for your support on this  Grin

You discovered that the menu was not properly setup which caused the detail view problem, and I installed an updated Gallery-Tab plugin which sorted the CB profile issue.

Kind regards,

Neil
