Ok, so I downloaded and uploaded this program successfully and is added under components. However, now is where I am stuck. I have a "photos" page already made with joomla article and would like this program to be set up on that article page. How can I make this possible from here? I am stuck any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

please read the qick start guide of JoomGallery first.

If you want to use JoomGallery images in content articles you would have to use the content plugin JoomPlu and the editor button plugin JoomBu for that, but primarily JoomGallery is a component so the gallery is displayed with its own menu item.

Hi,

please install and enable both of them.

You will then see a new button while editing or creating articles with which you can insert images and categories into these articles.

Hi,

do you have downloaded the extensions?

You can install them in the same way like you have installed JoomGallery.

After that please go to plugin manager in backend of your Joomla! and enable these plugins.

In back end I went to Extensions - install/uninstall - and installed both plugins. Now what do I do?

Ok, thanks I enabled them.

Now how exactly do I make it so that on my article page it shows a few different albums. Sort of like facebook. Where just say there are 3 albums to choose from and there is a default pic for each album with a caption and once you click the album you get to see all the pix in that album. Only captions to show, nothing else.
