I just installed JoomGallery w/o problem....made a few test categories with no problem...uploaded photos with no problem....changed the category of some photos with no problem....made the menu link to "default gallery" with no problem....but when I go to front end and select the new menu link IE8 hangs up in a continuous page load and firefox gives me this....."Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."....wtf is that?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Johnnie
BTW..Joomla!1.5.22, Gallery 1.5.7.3

Hi,

could you please post a link to this problem?

Is the menu link a public one?

Here is a link to my test site where I was trying out the gallery....http://www.thegaoutdoors.com/
There is only the front page and the gallery.  I have disabled all other front-end mods and the problem still exists.

The template was created with Artisteer.

I went to the maintenance mgr and checked for errors and there were no corrupt files found.

Thanks,
Johnnie

Hi,

thanks for the link.
You have created menu link for a category without specifying a certain category.

You have to create a menu link to the gallery view of JoomGallery or to specify a category.

Ahhhhhh....since it didn't give an error when I saved the menu item, I didn't realize I needed to choose category....

Thanks!
