Hi,

I have a big problem. Been struggling in last few days to set user permissions.

Let's say I have 5 categories. I want users to be able to add images to these categories but at the same time I want them to be able to see only images they uploaded. E.g.:
User 1 uploaded the image - flower.jpg
User 2 uploaded the image - car.jpg

I don't want User 1 to be able to see the image of User 2 i.e. car.jpg.

I want them to have their personal galleries.
These are my Joomla settings:
Joomla Version 1.5.23

Site > User Managers > New Users are set Registered

In JoomGallery > Category Manager >Access for all Categories is set to Registered.

And still, when I log in as User 1 I can see images uploaded by User 2, and when I log in as User 2 I can see images uploaded by User1

I want them to be private for all Users.

I don't know how to do that.

Please help!!!!

There are only 3 lines added, so if it doesn't do as you wish just remove those 3 lines!

Hello, anyone find out the solution of this problem. (I also don't want User 1 to be able to see the image of User 2 i.e. car.jpg)
Macallf your solution not works, any change required in those line of code?

Currently, User is created the category and that category is visible to all. If this is not possible then i create the category and all upload the images in that but own images must be visible in gallery overview.


This is wonderful extension, but this problem not allows me to use this.
