I get that you can have sub categories but I have a page that is done by 2 main separate categories: "Emotion" and "Genre"

so each picture I want associated with an Emotion (ie Happy) and a Genre (ie Basketball Player)-

So that photo is known as both Happy and Basketball Player and not Happy->(subcat)Basketball player

Is this possible?

Or at least even a way to "Save image as Copy" like I usually do with Joomla do have separate categories?

So Ive searched and it seems you cant do this "without copying the image" - but (please forgive my newbness)

How do I do that?

On normal Joomla, I would get around the 1 category thing by simply changing the category on an article and clicking "Save as Copy"

What is the JoomGallery version of this?

Hi,

you would have to use the 'New' button in image manager for creating a new image with the same image file in another category.

If you want also a 'Save as Copy' button you could suggest that here as a new feature.
