I have my images being viewed like the screen grab I've added below, however I would like them to "pop up" like the images do on the front page of this site. Would someone kindly explain how to do it please.

Also I don't want the rating, comments etc showing to anybody.

Your screen shot is of the detail page.  If someone clicked on the image it should pop up as a full sized image.  Is that what you are referring to?

As for the ratins, comments, etc.  Those are easy enough to turn off.  Just go to the configuration manager in Joom Gallery.  Then go to the "Detail view" tab then select "General Settings". From there you can turn off voting, ratings, comments, etc.

In Joom Gallery you have to hunt for certain features.  Sometimes one tab will control the showing of an item and then you'll have to go to another section to configure that same item.  After hunting around for a while, you'll get the hang of it.
