I have changed the .sectiontableheader background color to white. The problem is that when I'm in the detail view the headings for the drop-down panels (I have them set to accordion) for comments and other features like that are also white. There text is white too, so users cannot see the writing.

Can I separate the two? I tried looking for the file that contains these so I could change the class of these, but I couldn't find it.

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

I think you can work with parent CSS classes there. Firebug for Firefox could be helpful for that.

The code of the detail view can be found in file 'components/com_joomgallery/views/detail/tmpl/default.php'.

Thanks for your replies to both of my posts! The language manager worked as did updating the default.php file. I added a new class for my drop-down panels and it worked great!

I had never heard of Firebug before, but I am definitely going to keep using that! It's awesome!

Thanks again!

I am starting to get a better understanding of the structure of the pages and where to find the bits of code I need. I am having trouble locating one section, though. When I first go to the gallery, that is in the "gallery" directory. Once I click on a category, that is the page that I assumed would be located in the "category" directory under "tmpl." That didn't do the trick though. I also tried "usercategories" and that didn't work.

Could you help me to find the correct location. I am actually trying to change the CSS for the .sectiontableheader at the bottom of the page.

Thanks!

Hi,

you are right, after clicking on a main category in gallery view you are in category view for which the files are located in 'views/category/tmpl/'.
Maybe you have selected the wrong file there. Which area do you want to change exactly?

Also please make sure that you use the feature of template overrides when changing anything there. This way your changes won't be lost after an update of the gallery.

There is a table header (.sectiontableheader) at the top and bottom of the detail view, the gallery view and the category overview. The top one contains my text and I have it set to a white BG color.

The bottom one, though, has no text and I'd rather it not be there. I just want it the same BG color as the rest of my page. For the detail view, I found this section in the default.php file. For the gallery view it was in the default_footer.php. I have checked both of these for the gallery view, but no luck.

I have located the correct file. The section I was looking for was in the default_images.php file.

Thanks again for all of your help.
