When updating JoomGallary the browser window displayed a sort of progress.
This starts with 'Update JoomGallery to version: 1.5.7.5'.
Last line states 'Create aliases for all images and categories:'

I waited overnight to see if that step would be finished, but no success. Now all aliasses of the categories and photos are missing.

Is there a way to add the aliasses (besides opening and saving thousands of photos)?

Found an answer myself in

Executing 'your-domain.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&controller=maintenance&task=setalias' did the trick.
