Hello, I would like to know if there is a quick way to add a few fields in the frontend image upload form?

I know the additional image fields plugin cannot be used for the upload form yet, so would wanna know if I can just add some fields in the table _joomgallery and amend some files to achieve this.

I'm quite new to joomla and the php stuff so would be grateful if anyone can give me some guidance.

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

sorry, that's not possible easily, but you could vote for that here.

I see, thanks for your reply.

As a work-around, is it easier if I want to redirect to the edit image link after a single image upload?  Thanks!

Hi,

while this would be a bit easier it still requires a hack of the files which will be overridden with every update of JoomGallery.

From reading the line "You will not find any 'Additional Fields' in any JoomGallery upload form yet."  in this document http://www.en.joomgallery.net/documentation/common-information/additional-fields-for-images-and-categories.html dated Oct 2012 I was under the understanding that this feature was planned ? Is this not the case.
