Hello!

I have these settings in Configuration Manager(General settings > Image processing):
Thumbnail conversion = free settings
Part of image to be cropped = center
Thumbnail width = 140
Thumbnail height = 87

When I upload images from admin panel preview is being croppped so that not full image can be seen in thumbnail.
How can I make thumbnail to include all photo area with empty areas filled with e.g. white color?

Hi,

free settings is only useful for square thumbnails with identical height and width. But always something is cut.
I recommend converting it to using a uniform height.

that is you recommend to use such settings
Thumbnail conversion = by height
Thumbnail height = some value
