Have read through the documentation and searched the forum but cant find an answer to this...

Requirement:
guests to not be allowed to upload
registered users to be able to upload but all registered users upload to the same category (admins will then move uploaded images to the appropriate category)

Solution
Allow Userspace is set to NO
In the category to hold the uploaded images permissions have been set for Registered to allow Upload and Create.

When logged in to the front end i can not see any button to use to upload an image when i am in the category that should allow uploads.

Using JoomGallery 3.3.1 in Joomla! 3.5.1

Any hints would be greatly received.

Hi,

it is possible to show an upload icon in the category view.
Set this in JoomGallery Configuration Manager: Category View > General Settings > Display Upload Icon
