Upgraded to JoomGallery 3.3.2 and all of my images on the frontend have disappeared. Why?

Is there a conflict with it and Joomla! 3.6.2 Stable?

Hi,

no, JoomGallery 3.3.3 works fine with Joomla! 3.6.2.
Please explain exactly what and how (all extensions) everything has been updated.

Simply put:
> Upgraded Joomla via automated update
> Updated extensions (one at a time) that included JoomGallery

While reviewing the site's frontend, all image thumbnails with JoomGallery disappeared (broken images). No other images on the site were broken. Come to find out, it had something to do with the SEF---this has never been a problem before. I disabled all things regarding the SEF in Global Configuration, cleared the cache, and then reset the SEF (with the exception of Add Suffix to URL and Unicode Alias---these were set to 'Yes' before the update and worked fine but when I attempted to set them again, thumbnails broke) and everything started working again.

So before the update, things were working normal. Now I've had to change some things in Global to make the thumbnails visible.

Recently there was a problem with an update from a JEvents plugin.
Do you use JEvents on your website? latest version?

Good call, MrMusic.

I'm actually using that very component, which is the latest version.

So how could that component affect JoomGallery? Or am I asking the wrong forum?  :)

For technical background to this problem see the documentation.
Without link to the website unfortunately can only guess what the problem is.
