I saw the previous post about a flash menu or module that can cause conflict and I had a flash mp3 player in a module but I unpublished and and still having trouble with Thickbox3 in IE7.  Can someone help me to figure out why it's acting this way? Here is a link:

http://216.120.239.151/media/photo-gallery?func=detail&id=279

Also, I have just noticed that in Firefox, the thickbox3 popup is working correctly except for one thing and that is my horizontal navigation menu is not dimmed (It's not flash either) You can see this happen when you scroll up while the popup is displayed. I don't know what the chances are of someone scrolling up but I thought I would mention this.

Thanks

Hi,
at first please consider: the actual version of the JoomGallery is signed as BETA. There could be still bugs...
So please use it only for test purposes.

To check your problem i used the Firefox 3.0.1 with installed addon Firebug, a nice tool to simply
modify the CSS on live sites without changing the files...

The only "failure" on your gallery is that the menu has an very high z-index which means that the menu will always in foreground when the picture in
thickbox opens. You can find this setting in the file 'templates/js_relevant/css/nav.css' at line 9 f.
Code
#navmenu {nav.css (Linie 9)
float:none;
height:40px;
margin:0;
padding:5px 0 0 8px;
position:relative;
z-index:10000;
}

Please comment the line with z-index:
Code
#navmenu {nav.css (Linie 9)
float:none;
height:40px;
margin:0;
padding:5px 0 0 8px;
position:relative;
/* z-index:10000;*/
}

Alternatively find the file 'components/com_joomgallery/assets/js/thickbox3/css/thickbox.css' and look at line 46 f.
Code
#TB_window {thickbox.css (Linie 46)
background:#FFFFFF none repeat scroll 0 0;
border:4px solid #525252;
color:#000000;
display:none;
left:50%;
position:fixed;
text-align:left;
top:50%;
z-index:102;
}

and increase the z-index to a value higher than 10000
Code
#TB_window {thickbox.css (Linie 46)
background:#FFFFFF none repeat scroll 0 0;
border:4px solid #525252;
color:#000000;
display:none;
left:50%;
position:fixed;
text-align:left;
top:50%;
z-index:10002;
}

The difference: the menu will go the background in relation to the opened thickbox picture, but is still highlighted..

So make some experiments with these settings...

Regards
Andreas
