Hi I have installed your photogallery and it all works correctly until I turn on the watermark function.

When I do this the thumbnail still shows correctly but the larger image does not show at all I just get a white box, also when I click download the file is unreadable.

Any Ideas?

please have a look at Configuration Manager >> General Settings >> Paths and Directories; is the watermark path marked as writeable? Do the watermark file exists?

I have same problem, but after i move to another server (hostgator). The images exist, watermark.png file exist, directory is writable. GD2 and ImageMagik exist and functional..if i disable watermark option, the detail image appear. See this example:

Hi,

do you have enabled 'Add Watermark?' in the tab 'Detail View' -> 'General Settings' of the configuration manager?

If i enable this option, all detail images are not visible anymore. Because it's a live site, i disable this option untill i get help :)

I understand, but I will only be able to help you if can see the error, so please enable this feature for a while.

Do you have checked the permissions of the watermark file and whether it exists?

I enable option. Please tell me what permission should i have for watermark file? In General Settings->Path & Directories i see that all directories are writeable. And yes, watermark file exist

Hi,

the watermark file has to be readable by the script, but on some servers that isn't enough, so maybe you have to set the permissions '777' for that file.

A PHP error seems to occure while creating the image with the watermark, but I cannot see it, I have to access your backend to do further research. If you agree with that, please send me a PM with the account data of a super administrator.

thank you very much for the account!

With the help of aHa, I discovered that there's a problem with the system plugin 'Jom Comment Sys'. If it is disabled all images are displayed correctly with the watermark.

It seems that this plugin inserts three blank lines into the output right at the beginning. That's most likely the cause of this problem.

I have the same problem, and follow the solutions above writes but still I can't see the pictures with the watermark.

If I disable the watermark then I can see the picture.

I've look up the plugin  'Jom Comment Sys' to disabled but I 't haven't it.

What can I do to use the watermark ?

I solved the problem !!


I've installed the packet php5-gd and than it work.
