Go to: /administrator/index.php?option=com_joomgallery&act=categories
Create a category.
Look on the Owner Row and click on the Link.

If you created the category as admin, it will point to
/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=

If you created the category as user through the frontend it will point to
/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=<userid>

In both terms, you get 404 not found message.

did you install the Community-Builder before?
If not, you can deactivate this links in Configuration Manager - General Settings ->Community-Builder -> Community-Builder Support-> no

But right, if the owner is 'null' (a category created in backend by the admin) it will result in a blank user id.

We are at the moment in developing a new structure of handling user galleries.
